Highlands Festival

The venue was very close to my work (TechCollege - ROC MN). So I left my car there and picked up my wife and children and walked together to the park Schothorst-Noord.
The Highlands festival is a not so big festival. It was my first visit to this festival and it looked very nice a lot place to eat and drink.
The happy guy (me) with all the things he love (wife/children/uriah heep) looks satisfied
A lot of Heep-fans came to Amersfoort. Some of them I hadn't seen for years. it was good to see them. Even Marjon van Mourik was there!!!! It was good the see her.
Oli Brown (bluesrock) was the first act I listened to, not always my favourite music but this sounded good.
Next to listen was Danny Bryant's Redeyeband
He played on the smalle stage. Like on every festival there is more than only music. Pietcasso for instance is a culinary artist :0)
Eating, drinking and listening to good music, makes a festival, a good festival
Julian Sas is a Dutch bluesrocker,
He played not only old songs, but also some new songs from the new album, which I do like very much
