Uriah Heep
Classic Rock Festival
U.K.,London
30-11-2002
Saturdaymorning I left home at 5:30 to drive to Hook of Holland to take the fast ferry to Harwich and 7 hours later was I listening to John Lawton and Steve Dunning at the Heep Festivalclub. Louis brought me after the show the show to the hotel. About 5 o'clock we went back to Shepherds Bush Empire, had a nice pasta meal at the Italian restaurant. At that there were people waiting outside in the rain. The doors opened at six. The venue wasn't sold out. Uriah Heep was the first one to do an acoustical show. It was a good show but a little bit sober, no female singers, Phil behind the keyboards instead of piano. But there was someone on a steel guitar behind Mick.
The setlist wasn't surprising, two new old songs, That's the way that it is and The other side of midnight if I remember well.
The complete band with Mick in the spotlight.
